The location is stunning and particularly good as it's near a botanical garden, a hill overlooking a river valley and Huon river below.

Everything was perfect! the location is marvelous, situated close to the hillside with beautiful gardens and a lovely view of the river and surrounding hills. It was a wonderful experience. the rooms were neat and modern, complete with a bathtub. the staff was friendly and delightful.

The B&B is located in a beautiful spot, right by an apple orchard and with views down the Huon River valley to the mountains. the room was clean but small, with a basic bathroom. Breakfast was included but was nothing special. Some facilities were available such as a little kitchen to make simple lunches.

The service was poor with no attention to detail and lackluster hospitality.

We were absolutely spellbound by the stunning gardens at Hillside and the mesmerizing view of the river. The hosts took the time to show us around and their warm welcome made us feel at home instantly. The rooms were immaculate, with luxurious linen and comfortable beds. We loved being able to pick fresh fruits from the garden, and the thoughtful touches like soft robes and a carafe of port made our stay even more special. The kitchenette was well-stocked, allowing us to prepare our own meals, which was convenient since there wasn't much dining in the area. The breakfast was fantastic, and the views from the dining area were breathtaking. we had a fantastic experience at Hillside and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful and picturesque getaway.

Spent New Year’s here with the family and we had a fantastic time! The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, but also gave us our space when we wanted it. The breakfast was amazing - homemade jams and pastries were an absolute treat. The location was perfect for us as we were able to relax in a quiet area and enjoy the beautiful views. , the communal kitchen was a great addition as we were able to cook our own meals using the local produce.

Although the surroundings were generally great, the view could have been improved with a little bit of hedge trimming. the town was a few kilometers away so it could take some time to get there.

We loved staying at this hotel down the river to the mountains. The location close to nature was one of our favourite things about it. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and the cleanliness was impressive. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the breakfast they served each morning. Spent my new year's eve in a B&B and it was quite an experience. the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was healthy. the views from the terrace were breathtaking. It was also conveniently located near attractions that were quite interesting. A nice addition was the beautiful gardens which added a unique touch to the experience.

There was no entertainment in the room, no private TV to enjoy some time alone in the cozy room. the price was a bit expensive.
